Hello and welcome to the No More Art Theft Club/Group thing. I started this club because I've noticed that all around Deviantart there is art theft being reported and some art that shouldn't be reported that is being reported

I have started this club to help stop Art theft here on DA.

NOTE: If you are a member, Keep an Eye out for Journals about new Art thieves

NOTE2: If an Artist's work has been stolen I will notify them, via commenting on their page or the artwork which was stolen

Here's how to join

1. You can't have stolen any art whatsoever at anytime. (If you got reported for a sprite or sprite sheet then it doesn't count, you can join the club) If you have stolen art then you cannot join

2. Send a note saying that you wish to join.

3. Watch the club and the club will watch you

4. You must take a pledge that you never steal art, and if you are caught stealing art on DA or anywhere else you will immediately be kicked out of the club.

5. You must say that you are part of the club, in your journal or in your sig, whichever works for you

Rules.

1. You can not steal art EVER

2. You can submit Art promoting anti-art theft, just send a note to with a link to the picture. Also it has to be downloadable

3. Report ANY Art theft you find.

4. Be respectful to other members

5. Be proud of promoting No More Art theft

6. If any Member is found out/proven to be an art thief, they will be permanently banned and blocked from the club, even if they create a new account. No questions asked, no second chances. It would defeat the purpose of the club to have an art thief in it, now wouldn't it? TwT

How to Spot Art Theft/ what is not art theft/ about art theft

1. If someone has posted a picture someone else has made saying it's theirs then they're stealing art

2. If someone has traced over with paper/edited someone else's artwork saying that it's theirs then they're stealing art

3. If someone has posted edit sprites, Sprite Comics, or Sprite Sheets and have given full credit then that is not art theft

4. Art theft is basicly Plagiarism. Which is claming someone else's work as one's own. If you ever spot art theft you should report it.

5. If you find art theft, you should report it silently. If you tell the person that you are reporting the theft then they might try to harass you (I should know -.-; I got harassed all the time)
